The Ottawa Choral Society performs Johannes Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem
Jean-Michel Malouf -- conductor with the Orchestre symphonique du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and professor of conducting at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal leads the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra for this grand season finale of classic Russian masterworks, including a performance of Prokofiev's 1st Piano Concerto by renowned local pianist David Jalbert. To open this concert, the OSO has commissioned a new brass and percussion fanfare as an homage to Prokofiev. A world premiere not to be missed!

Canadian organist Jonathan Oldengarm joins the choir for this spectacular concert!

The Cantata Singers of Ottawa present Chansons françaises, a concert exploring the extraordinary repertoire of 20th century French songs for choir, a capella and accompanied by piano. The program features beautiful French poetry on themes of love, loss and hope, set to music by leading composers including Lili Boulanger, Debussy, Fauré, Poulenc and Ravel. The concert also includes the world premiere of "Ouvre tes ailes" by Canadian composer Marie-Claire Saindon

Coro Vivo Ottawa features a commissioned work by the wonderful composer Andrew Balfour. Andrew is of Cree descent and is an innovative composer/conductor/singer/sound designer with a large body of choral, acoustic and orchestral works. The piece will be complemented with other pieces designed to evoke images of all the earth's elements. Come and be transported through music.
